announces a competition for the post of
Adjunct (R2) at the Department of Soil Science and Environmental Analyses
Conditions to be met by the candidate:
- PhD in agriculture, earth sciences or related fields
- documented scientific achievements in line with the requirements of IUNG-PIB for the position of adjunct.
- preparation and submission of a formally correct research project to the National Science Centre, the National Centre for Research and Development, or another research funding institution
- experience in presenting research results at national or international conferences
- minimum 2 years of experience in scientific work abroad after obtaining a doctorate and as a postdoctoral researcher
- very good knowledge of GIS software: QGIS or ArcGIS, R language
Assistant in the Department of Fertilization and Nutrient Management
Conditions to be met by the candidate:
- Master's degree or doctoral degree in agricultural sciences or earth sciences, biological sciences, chemical sciences and related disciplines.
- Willingness to undertake research issues justified by the needs of the Institute.
- At least 2 years of experience in scientific and research work, or in professional work related to the field of research (e.g. postgraduate or doctoral studies, scientific internship, participation in research teams).
- Achievements in previous work, including authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications with a total value of at least 40 points, based on an assessment according to the list of publications of journals from the MEiN list, and presentation of research results at conferences or scientific workshops (paper, poster).
- Aptitude for scientific work (e.g. willingness to seek new solutions in agriculture through experimentation and confrontation with the literature, participation in research projects, presentation of research results at scientific conferences and workshops).
- Ability to work in a team.
Assistant (R2) in the Department of Herbology in Wrocław
Conditions to be met by the candidate:
- Master's degree in agricultural sciences or related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific and research work (e.g. postgraduate or doctoral studies, work experience in a scientific unit)
- Authorship or co-authorship of at least two scientific publications from the list of journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education
- Submitted at least one formally correct research project (NCN, NCBR or other research funding institution)
- Achievements and motivation for scientific work and improvement of qualifications (e.g. participation in research projects, scientific studies, presentation of results - posters, papers)
- Ability to statistically process research results, analyse the data obtained and prepare publications
- Proven knowledge of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of plant growth and development (weeds and crops)
- Cat B driving licence.
Assistant Professor (R2) in the Department of Biochemistry and Crop Quality
Conditions to be met by the candidate:
- carrying out laboratory work and experimental plots;
- active participation in training courses, seminars and scientific conferences;
- development of research topics within the framework of statutory activities;
- development of national and international scientific projects;
Assistant (R2) in the Department of Forage Crop Production
Conditions to be met by the candidate:
- doctoral degree in agricultural sciences or in the discipline of earth, biological, chemical, economic and related sciences
- at least 2 years of experience in research work or professional work thematically related to the field of research activity
- achievements in previous scientific work, including authorship or co-authorship of at least one scientific paper from the list of journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and presentation of research results
- predisposition to academic work (e.g. participation in research projects, statutory topics)

- Your personal data, to the extent indicated in the provisions of the labour law (Article 221 of the Labour Code and § 1 of the Regulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 28.05.1996 on the scope of keeping documentation by employers in matters related to the employment relationship and the manner of keeping the employee’s personal file) will be processed by the Administrator of personal data on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation in order to conduct the recruitment procedure for the position.

- Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation, the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation incumbent on the controller – Act of 16 December 2016 on the principles of state property management. The source of personal data will be information and documents provided by the data subject.

- With regard to data not required by law – the legal basis for processing will be your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation). Your consent can be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.

- Rights related to data processing – You have the right to access your data, to request rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, to object to processing, to data portability, in the cases specified in the Regulation.

- Consent to the processing of personal data can be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.

- If you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the Regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Data Protection Authority.

- Information on automated decision-making and profiling – The Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute in Puławy will not use your data for automated decision-making and profiling.
